Parking Lot Painting the Week of May 14th

posted May 9, 2018, 4:56 PM by Whisperwood Cluster

Attention Residents!

During the week of May 14, 2018, all parking lot and travel lane markings will be prepared and painted.  This project will take some coordination and cooperation from the residents in the community.   This will be very similar to what we did for the concrete and asphalt projects in the past.  The work will be done in phases to allow for parking in other areas in the community while work is being done.

Whisperwood Glen Lane and Whisper Way - May 14

Silentwood Lane – May 15

All vehicles must be removed from the areas being worked on each day NO LATER THAN  8:45AM.  We must ensure that the areas are open and available to allow the contractor to stay on schedule.  Any vehicle remaining in the parking lots will be subject to immediate towing at the risk and expense of the vehicle owner.    All dates are weather dependent.

Thank you for your patience and assistance during this process!  Please forward any questions you have to Rod at RCS Management (703-778-7271 or  As always, you can contact the Board members directly at

Reminder: Annual Meeting Monday, May 15th!

posted May 11, 2017, 6:33 PM by Whisperwood Cluster

It's that time of year again, our annual meeting is right around the corner.  It will be held Monday, May 15th, 2017 in the Langston Hughes Middle School Cafeteria.  Each homeowner should have received notice in the mail containing the agenda, application for nomination (we have a position open) and honestly, possibly the most important piece... the PROXY!

Talk to your neighbors!  If you are planning to go, see if they will sign a proxy you can bring to the meeting.  If you are not planning to attend, please give your proxy to another resident that is going or feel free to reach out to any of the board members or RCS Mgmt.  If you need a proxy, please contact us at

Hope to see you next Monday!

Summer Announcements!

posted Aug 9, 2016, 2:13 PM by Whisperwood Cluster

Residents - We hope you are enjoying our summer so far!  Just a couple noteworthy items to pass on:

  • We are looking for a few potential Board members.  Each year, we have an election to fill expiring terms.  Other times, Board members need to step away.  Without having a few names and faces to consider, the Association can end up in a tough spot.   If you are interested in serving your community, please forward an email to the Board (  We would love to hear from you!  Help make our neighborhood even better!
  • There have been several large hornets nests appearing in the trees around our neighborhood.  If you spot any in the common areas, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can have it removed!  Wasp/hornet stings can be very dangerous, especially to those with allergies.  Thanks!
