Beware - Copperhead Snakes in the area!

NOTE TO ALL RESIDENTS - We've received a report from our landscaping crew that there appears to be a Copperhead snake colony living in the neighborhood, particularly in an ivy-covered area between Whisperwood Glen Lane and Silentwood Lane.  Copperheads are a venomous species, so please avoid (and keep all pets away from) this area until we are able to resolve the issue.  We recommend keeping any outdoor cats indoors as well.  We will post updates as we know more.  Below is some information on local copperhead snakes from the Virginia Herpetological Society:
