Road Work Signs - Additional Information

Residents - We have received additional information on the road work signs that have appeared on Whisperwood Glen Lane recently.  As stated in our previous post, these signs are associated with the Fairfax County stream rehabilitation project reported at last year's annual meeting.  They require an entrance to the stream running along the community, which is located in the lower area of Whisperwood Glen Ln.  Even though the county is not not actively using the entrance at this point, all signage associated with the project was installed in order that the VDOT inspection could occur.  As the lower construction access point is not currently being used, the signs will soon be fully covered with black fabric.  The fabric will be removed once construction activity moves to the area.  The second sign is also for the benefit of the community so that delivery trucks and other know they are not to proceed further into the community.  The project is estimated to last 3 months, depending on weather.

As always, let us know if you have any further questions!
